Cops still seeking man who grabbed a woman’s butt near her home in Astoria

Police need the public’s help in finding a man who molested a woman near her Astoria home earlier this month.

According to police, at 8:10 p.m. on June 22, the unknown man approached a 30-year-old woman in the vestibule of her home located on 41st Street. The suspect then proceeded to grab the victim’s buttocks and fled the scene.

The incident was reported to the 114th Precinct; the woman was not injured.

Police described the suspect as a man between the ages of 30 and 40-years-old and was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue shorts.
