Cops are looking to into the death of a man who was found lying on a bench at a playground in Elmhurst early on Monday morning.

According to police, at 6:08 a.m. on July 2, officers from the 110th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding an unconscious man at Moore Homestead Playground, in the area of 82nd Street and Broadway.

Upon their arrival, cops found an unidentified man lying face down on a bench, unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma.

EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Sources familiar with the case said that the victim may have suffered a medical episode and did not have any clear signs of overdosing, however the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

There was also no indication that the victim was homeless, authorities said.

The investigation is ongoing.
