Cops are looking for two burglars behind a series of recent residential break-ins around Ridgewood.

According to police, at 7 p.m. on June 17, two unknown men gained access to a residence just over the Ridgewood border in the vicinity of Hart Street and DeKalb Avenue through a secure door. Once inside, the suspects took home appliances that were valued at $4,000.

The second incident took place on July 5. At 5 p.m. that day, authorities said, the two suspects broke into a residence in the vicinity of Catalpa Avenue and 62nd Street and stole appliances worth $1,500.

Finally, at 5:40 a.m. on July 31, the suspects broke into a home in the vicinity of Greene and Fairview Avenues through a secure door. Once inside, law enforcement sources said, the suspects took an appliance valued at $500.

In each incident, the suspects fled the scene in a white Chevrolet cargo van.

Cops described the suspects as black men between 20 and 30 years of age. The first suspect was last seen wearing all dark clothing, and the second perpetrator was last seen wearing a green shirt, white tank top and black pants.
