Step right up for the zaniest show on earth, right here in Queens!

Circus Amok will present a hilarious, political, one-ring spectacle at Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island City on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 3 p.m.

Expect a bearded lady — but no well-shaven men – as well as cross-dressing jugglers, stilt dancers, acrobats, and puppets.

Prepare to be dazzled, alarmed, enchanted, enraged, and tickled pink. And also prepare to become part of the show.

Circus Amok, a Brooklyn-based troupe that is celebrating its 29th year in action, likes to mix traditional circus stunts with improvisation, wacky dances, and sizzling dialogue that usually touches on themes of social justice.

In other words, the performers will get into the whole Trump phenomenon early and often. Other themes might be Black Lives Matter, Abolish ICE, and Medicare For All.

Oh, and the troupe is strictly “no animal.” But that won’t stop an appearance by a papier-mache lion or maybe even a purple hippo, if he’s in town.

Admission is free, and seating is on the grass.

Socrates Sculpture Park is located at 32-01 Vernon Blvd. near the LIC border with Astoria.
