Queens man pleads guilty to sex trafficking underage girls

A Queens man who engaged underage girls and women in sex trafficking pleaded guilty in Manhattan Federal Court last week, according to Geoffrey Berman, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

The defendant, Grevy Gerard Pierre-Louis, 46, pleaded guilty Sept. 4 before Chief United States District Judge Colleen McMahon to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and conspiracy to transport minors interstate for the purpose of prostitution, Berman said.

“The defendant spent most of his adult life profiting from his victimization of girls and women through extreme physical and psychological abuse,” said Berman. “All the while, he bragged about being a pimp and a player. Thanks to the extraordinary work of the FBI, the defendant’s so-called game is now over, and he will face the consequences of his actions.”

Berman added that he hoped the defendant’s guilty plea will bring some measure of justice for the survivors of his vicious crimes.

According to Berman, starting in or about 1998 and continuing through 2016, Pierre-Louis — also known as “Cadillac Slim,” or “Caddy” — compelled his victims to engage in prostitution through extreme violence, psychological and verbal abuse, coercion, and threats of violence to them and their family members. Pierre-Louis had victimized girls and women in numerous states, all for his own profit.

Pierre-Louis’ guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking carries a maximum sentence of life in prison; and one count of conspiracy to transport minors interstate for the purpose of prostitution carries a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison, Berman said.

Pierre-Louis is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 12, according to Berman.
