Police set up a crime scene where a man was shot to death outside the College Point Multiplex on Oct. 1.

Cops are looking for the suspects behind a deadly shooting of a driver near the College Point Multiplex early on Monday morning.

Police said the murder took place just before 3:25 a.m. on Oct. 1 near the movie theater’s parking lot 28-55 Ulmer St.

According to law enforcement sources, 25-year-old Jaquan Campbell of Brooklyn, who was accompanied by his girlfriend, was driving in the parking lot when he was struck from behind by an unidentified vehicle.

WABC-TV reported that the crash stemmed from a dispute that broke out between Campbell and a suspect that began a short time earlier at the Angels Strip Club located at 32-17 College Point Blvd. in Flushing.

Following the crash, four masked men exited the other vehicle and confronted Campbell, authorities said. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot him in the torso, police said. CBS New York further reported that Campbell was also shot in the face.

Both the wounded Campbell and his girlfriend were then pulled from the vehicle, sources familiar with the investigation said. The group then took off inside the victim’s car, which was later ditched at the corner of 120th Street and 26th Avenue, sources noted. Two weapons were recovered in the suspects’ vehicle that was also located nearby, WABC-TV reported.

Officers from the 109th Precinct responded to a 911 call about the shooting in the multiplex parking lot. Paramedics pronounced Campbell dead at the scene; the victim’s girlfriend was unharmed, police said.

Angels Strip Club is the same establishment where rapper Cardi B allegedly assaulted two bartenders back in August in an unrelated incident; Cardi B surrendered to police on Oct. 1 on assault charges stemming from that episode.

No arrests have been made in Monday’s shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the murder can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). All calls are kept confidential.
