Just a few blocks from her home, a Glen Oaks woman died on Tuesday morning after crashing her car into a parked truck, police reported.

On Oct. 2 at 11:28 a.m., officers from the 105th Precinct responded to a 911 call about a vehicle collision at Hillside Avenue and 265th Street.

When NYPD arrived at the scene, they found 77-year-old Diane Griffin of 261st Street unconscious and unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a 2017 Mazda CX5.

During a preliminary investigation, police learned that Griffin was driving eastbound on Hillside Avenue approaching 265th Street when she apparently lost control of her car and slammed into a parked truck.

Paramedics rushed Griffin to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
