Police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying a thirsty bandit who recently burglarized a juice bar in Flushing.

Officers from the 109th Precinct reported that on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at approximately 2:14 a.m., the male suspect entered the unlocked back door of Tbaar juice bar, located at 136-70 Roosevelt Ave.

Once inside, police said, the man allegedly removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled from the scene.

Law enforcement did not have a description of the perpetrator, but images were posted on the 109th Precinct’s Twitter account that showed a man in a black baseball cap, black and white striped shirt and black pants.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website, on Twitter @NYPDTips or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
