Crooks threaten Glendale store workers with pepper spray to steal clothing: cops

The 104th Precinct‘s looking for the public’s help in finding two bandits who threatened workers with pepper spray while robbing a Glendale apparel store.

Law enforcement sources said the caper occurred at 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 19 inside the Foot Locker located in The Shops at Atlas Park, 80-28 Cooper Ave.

According to police, the two male suspects walked into the location and began grabbing numerous clothing items valued at an estimated $1,400, then proceeded to head for the exits.

When a worker confronted them, authorities said, one of the bandits displayed what appeared to be pepper spray, aimed it at the employee and said, “Don’t move.” The crooks then exited from the shop and fled in an unknown direction.

Police said the device was not discharged, and no injuries were reported.
