St. Albans burglar hits home in broad daylight and steals electronics & high-end sneakers

Police are still on the lookout for a burglary suspect that was allegedly responsible for the theft of $1,950 in items from a St. Albans’ resident, according to the NYPD.

On Aug. 15 at about 3 p.m., the suspect allegedly got into a home on Dunlop Avenue and forcibly entered a padlocked bedroom that was occupied by a 35-year-old male, according to authorities.

Once in the room, authorities said, the suspect allegedly stole a 55-inch television and an Xbox that were both worth $300, a Verizon phone valued at $800, a Verizon tablet that cost $100, and three pairs of Jordan sneakers that total $450, according to police.

The incident was later reported to the 103rd Precinct. The command posted an image of the suspect on its Twitter account, but did not disclose his name.
