Detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding a man and woman who recently robbed a man at gunpoint as they rode the 7 train in Sunnyside.

The NYPD released on Sunday night images and a video of the duo responsible for the caper that occurred at about midnight Oct. 29 on board a Manhattan-bound 7 train approaching the 40th Street-Lowery Street station.

Law enforcement sources said the crooks approached the 38-year-old man and, seconds later, the male thief displayed a handgun and demanded the man’s property. The victim provided the male suspect his wallet and a cellphone.

Cops said that the male crook passed the property onto his female cohort, who placed the items inside her jacket. The suspects then forced the victim to get off at the 40th Street station, then remained on the 7 train as it pulled away.

Officers from the 108th Precinct were alerted to the incident. There were no reported injuries.

Police said his companion is a Hispanic woman in her 30s, standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall, who was last seen wearing a black jacket with white piping, dark-colored pants and black sneakers.

The video shows the suspects exiting the 40th Street stop through the turnstiles.
