Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, which works out of 28 offices throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Queens, the North Fork and Westhampton Beach, announced on Monday that the company will be opening a new Astoria-Long Island City office.

The new office, located in the WeWork Building at 35-37 36th St. in Astoria, is set to open on Nov. 15 and will be managed by Sales Manager Donna Rubertone, who also manages the organization’s Bayside/Flushing office.

“The timing of our newest office couldn’t be more auspicious,” said Deirdre O’Connell, chief executive officer of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. “We identified the Long Island City-Astoria neighborhoods as the place to be for our growth strategy, and have been laying the groundwork for this office for some time now. While we finalize the details of the office, we have secured office space at WeWork so that our licensed salespeople have a place to work and meet with their clients and customers. We’re in the right place at the right time.”

Founded in 1922, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty is one of the nation’s leaders in real estate, consistently achieving one of the highest average sales prices in the country. The new office, which has been in development since early 2018, seeks to assist with the rapidly growing industry that’s taking place in the Long Island City/Astoria area.

“Right now, there is a lot of synchronicity between Long Island and Astoria/Long Island City, with more Long Islanders looking at the area for both investment and residence. Current residents of Queens are also looking to move to Long Island,” said O’Connell. “Add to the existing climate the potential revolutionizing impact that a Google expansion in Manhattan or an Amazon headquarters in Long Island City would have in terms of the people, goods and services that it will bring to the area. With its newest office, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty real estate advisors will be well positioned to assist these major global corporations with their thousands of employees’ real estate and relocation needs in Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and throughout Long Island.”
