Frida Libre — Flora Martínez as Frida Kahlo returns in a new version of last year’s runaway success, “Frida Libre.” “Frida Libre” presents a unique vision of the magical world of one of the most influential women in Latin American history. Martínez explores Frida’s art, her success, her intriguing sexuality, her passion for politics and her complex relationship with Diego Rivera. Frida’s rich, fascinating story is told through dialogue and song, under the musical direction of Jose Reinoso.
