The person of interest wanted in connection to a deadly double stabbing at a Flushing home is now facing two second-degree murder charges.

On Nov. 15, police released a photo of the suspect in the gruesome crime on the 109th Precinct Facebook page.

He’s identified as Sai Chun Lam, 52; the New York Daily News reported that Lam’s family turned him into police at the 109th Precinct’s stationhouse on Nov. 17.

Police announced on Saturday night that Lam was under arrest on charges of second-degree murder and four additional counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

At approximately 10:20 a.m. on Nov. 14, police responded to a 911 call concerning two unconscious individuals at a residence on 37th Avenue between Parsons Boulevard and 147th Street.

When officers from the 109th Precinct arrived, they found two older adults unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds about the torso.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that the victims were Chunfu Lu, 67, and Deyu Zhai, 64.

Reports said that they were a married couple of Chinese descent, but due to a language barrier, few neighbors knew the deceased in the predominantly Korean neighborhood.

EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the victims dead.

Citing police sources with knowledge of the investigation, the Daily News reported that Lam was a roommate at the home, and allegedly stabbed the couple after he learned that they wanted him to move out.
