Bayside burglars who stole $18,000 in assorted loot caught on video

Police were looking for a duo who stoles thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry and electronics from a Bayside home last month.

According to police, at 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 13, two unknown men entered a residence in the vicinity of 39th Avenue and 212th Street through a year window. Once inside, the crooks took electronics and jewelry that was valued at $18,000.

Law enforcement sources said the suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The incident was later reported to the 111th Precinct.

Police described the first burglar as a heavyset Hispanic man between the ages of 20 and 30 who was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

His partner was described as a black man between the ages of 20 and 30 who was last seen wearing a baseball cap, sweatshirt and dark pants.

On Nov. 20, the NYPD released security camera footage of the suspects walking down a staircase.
