Police cuffed a man who repeatedly beat and tried to rape a woman in Ozone Park earlier this month.

Nickoloas Samaroo, 21, was arrested after turning himself in on Nov. 28. He was charged with rape, assault, committing a criminal sex act, sexual abuse and criminal possession of a weapon.

According to police, at 3 a.m. on Nov. 9, Samaroo allegedly knocked out a 39-year-old woman inside of an apartment on 101st Avenue by kicking and punching her repeatedly. When the victim regained consciousness, authorities said, she found Samaroo attempting to take off her pants.

Law enforcement sources said that the victim managed to stop Samaroo from removing her clothes by having a conversation with him, however when the victim tried to escape to the bathroom, Samaroo grabbed her, dragged her to the bedroom and assaulted her once more, causing her to lose consciousness again.

When the victim woke up, police reported, Samaroo was holding a knife to her face and threatened to harm her if she didn’t comply with his demands. When Samaroo forced the victim to perform oral sex, the victim bit him on the genitals, causing Samaroo to fall over and allowing the victim to flee the location to safety.

Samaroo fled the scene on foot eastbound on 101st Avenue and then southbound on 108th Street, authorities said.

The incident was reported to the 106th Precinct. The victim was treated at a nearby hospital for lacerations to her face and right leg.
