Enter an immersive winter experience and enjoy some holiday fun this weekend at the Greenpoint Loft.
On Sunday, Dec. 2, Greenpointers will host their annual Polar Vortex Holiday Market from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Greenpoint Loft, located at 67 West St. The loft will be decked out in snowmen, polar bears and other winter classics thanks to scenic artist Art of Mano.
Over 60 makers and crafters will set up shop in the market, ready to sell their creations. In addition to shopping, the Greenpointers Polar Vortex Market will offer a variety of free activities on the upper mezzanine including an interactive hologram experience by Looking Glass Factory, 3D avatar creations by Capture Me In 3D, massages by human@ease, henna tattoos by Miss V, nail art by Peenk and a photobooth by OutSnapped.com.
Local bands such as Pink Slater and Love Always will take the stage for live performances throughout the day. Visitors can sip on festive cocktails and mocktails, plus mulled wine and local craft beer by Greenpoint Beer & Ale while overlooking the East River and Manhattan skyline.
Bringing the kids along to the market? Downstairs there will be a child-friendly area with an ornament making station hosted by Success Academy Charter Schools.
