Off-duty traffic agent cuffed in his Queens home for allegedly punching his spouse

An off-duty traffic enforcement agent was arrested on Wednesday night after getting into a domestic dispute with his spouse at their home in northwest Queens.

Renato Gonsalesconegundes, 30, reportedly engaged in a physical altercation that resulted in him pushing and punching his spouse on Dec. 26.

Police did not disclose the exact location of the incident, however they indicated that Gonsalesconegundes’s residence is within the Astoria-based 114th Precinct.

Police responded to the home and arrested Gonsalesconegundes at 8:05 p.m. that night, charging him with assault.
