Detectives need your help in finding two men who assaulted and robbed a commuter at a Jamaica subway station earlier this month.

The NYPD released on Jan. 30 images and a video of one suspect involved in the Jan. 13 incident at the Parsons Boulevard station.

At about 6:15 a.m. on Jan. 13, police said, the 54-year-old male victim was riding a Jamaica-bound E train approaching the Parsons Boulevard station when the two bandits sat next to him.

Law enforcement sources said the man departed the train after it pulled into the Parsons Boulevard station, and the two perpetrators followed him up the stairs to the mezzanine.

Upon arriving at the mezzanine, police said, one of the bandits punched the victim in the face, while his partner acted as a lookout. The assailant then removed the victim’s neck chain and a wallet from a jacket pocket, then fled with the lookout from the station in an unknown direction.

The incident was reported to the 107th Precinct and NYPD Transit Bureau 20. The victim suffered a facial laceration, but refused medical treatment at the scene.

During the investigation, police learned that the assailant used the victim’s credit card later on Jan. 13 to make a purchase at the Food Bazaar supermarket on 57th Avenue in Corona. Police obtained security camera footage of the suspect, shown below.

Cops describe the assailant as a black man believed to be 20 years of age, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds, with a medium build, a medium complexion, black hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, a black bubble jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers.

His partner was described as a black man also believed to be 20 years of age, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds, with a dark complexion, a medium build, black hair and brown eyes. He was last observed wearing a black hat, a black coat, black pants and black boots.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects’ whereabouts can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA), visit the Crime Stoppers website, send a direct message on Twitter to @NYPDTips or a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577.
