Cops are looking for a thief who returned to the same Flushing grocery store twice and took off with stolen purses that the victims had left unattended for just a few moments.

According to police, at 5:48 p.m. on March 24, an unknown man entered the Jmart located inside the New World Mall, located at 136-20 Roosevelt Ave. Once inside, the suspect took an unattended purse, which contained $540, a cellphone, six credit cards, ID, and keys, and fled the store in an unknown direction.

Two weeks later on April 7, the suspect returned to the store at 5:25 p.m. Once inside, the thief took an unattended purse, which contained a wallet, $500, two credit cards, a passport, and two IDs, and then fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported as a result of either incident.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hat, gray shirt, and he was carrying a blue bag. Police released video of the suspect taken from the first incident:
