Cops searching for driver who fired gun from moving car in Astoria

The NYPD is looking for a person who fired a gunshot out of a moving car in Astoria last month.

On Monday, June 29, around 11:35 a.m., an unknown individual was driving a white two-door Mercedes Benz when they fired off one gunshot around Astoria Boulevard and Eighth Street, according to the NYPD.

The driver then fled northbound on Eighth Street, police say. No one was injured as a result of the incident, according to the cops.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
