The NYPD is searching for the driver of a black SUV who ran over a 64-year-old woman in Ozone Park last month.

On Sunday, July 19, around 7:15 a.m., the driver of a black SUV came barreling down Cross Bay Boulevard near Pitkin Avenue, according to the NYPD. Ignoring the signal, which was turning from yellow to red, the driver continued through the intersection, hitting a 64-year-old woman who was walking through the intersection in the crosswalk, according to the police.

Though the woman was knocked from the crosswalk into the median of the street, the driver barely slowed down, driving off without stopping, surveillance video of the incident shows.

The woman was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
