Triple shooting leaves one dead in Far Rockaway: NYPD

A 20-year-old is dead after he and two others were shot in Far Rockaway on Tuesday.

Police got a call about the shooting on Tuesday, Sept. 8, around 2 p.m., according to the NYPD. Officers arrived to 29-43 Far Rockaway Blvd., to find three people, including 20-year-old Christopher Campbell, with gunshot wounds, cops said.

Campbell, who had been shot in his torso, was rushed to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A 19-year-old man was hit by bullet in his torso and a 20-year-old woman was shot twice in the leg, according to the police. Both victims were taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, according to the authorities.

There is no known motivation for the triple shooting, police sources said. The NYPD has also yet to determine if the three victims knew each other, according to the police.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
