Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for a sexual assault in Laurelton late Wednesday night.

Police say that just before 11:30 p.m. on October 12, a man attacked a 23-year-old woman as she walked near 226th Street and South Conduit Avenue.

The suspect is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall with a medium build in his twenties with acne scars on his face and a thin mustache.

Anyone with information in regards to this sexual assault is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website atWWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COMor texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
