Three men were attacked outside of a Corona bar on Sunday morning by a man wielding a machete.

Guillermo Torres, 20, of East Elmhurst had a verbal altercation with the victims at Cibao Bar and Restaurant, located at 104-22 Northern Blvd. Police said Guillermo became jealous when the three victims struck up a conversation with his girlfriend.

After the dispute Torres left the bar, retrieved a machete and then waited outside until the three man came out, police said.

When the victims exited the bar at about 4:30 a.m., Torres slashed each man repeatedly. A 19-year-old male was slashed in the left shoulder and sustained a fracture to his left wrist. A 32-year-old victim received a gash to his left shoulder and the third victim, a 22-year-old, sustained lacerations to his forehead, left ring finger and left pinkie, according to police.

Two victims were taken to New York Presbyterian/Queens hospital and the third victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital; all were listed in stable condition.

Torres was arrested and charged with three counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
