Police have made another arrest in the fight in Ridgewood in August that left a man in a coma.

Detectives cuffed a man last week for his alleged role in an assault in Ridgewood two months ago that sent a pair of victims to the hospital with slash and stab wounds, authorities said.

According to the criminal complaint provided by Queens District Attorney Richard Brown’s office, cops apprehended Edmond A. Huertas, 24, of the Arverne section of the Rockaways, on Aug. 30 for an attack that happened on Wyckoff Avenue between Norman and Summerfield streets earlier this summer.

A verbal dispute broke out between Huertas and two other unapprehended individuals, and the two male victims between 9:29 and 9:35 p.m. on the night of July 15, the criminal complaint noted.

When the dispute turned physical, cops said, Huertas and the two accomplices allegedly began beating their victims in the face.

One victim was allegedly struck in the face with an unknown object causing him to sustain multiple lacerations, while the other victim was allegedly hit in the face with an unknown object, leaving him with a deep cut across his neck and right arm, law enforcement agents added.

Officers from the 104th Precinct and EMS units arrived on the scene that night and transported the victims to an area hospital where they were treated for their injuries.

One victim received multiple stitches to his face, while the other victim suffered a life-threatening injury due to the cut on his neck and received multiple stitches to his neck and right arm, police said.

Huertas has been charged with first-degree assault, second-degree gang assault, and two counts of second-degree assault. He is currently being held on $75,000 bond/$50,000 cash, and is due back in court on Sept. 13.
