The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual shown in this photo, who is wanted in connection with the Wednesday, Dec. 21 gunpoint robbery of a woman in a Yellowstone Boulevard apartment building. According to police sources, the man approached a 38- year-old woman in the Forest Hills building’s staircase at 4:30 a.m., displayed a firearm and demanded cash. After taking the victim’s credit cards and cash, he fled the scene. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a 25- to 30-year-old Hispanic male, standing 5’8″ and weighing 160 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
