Tents lined Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood for the Myrtle Avenue Street Festival sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Glendale, held last Sunday, Aug. 12, from noon to 6 p.m. Stretching from Forest Avenue to Fresh Pond Road, those in attendance were treated to fun and games, rides, food, vendors and plenty of entertainment, including special appearances by the FDNY Fire Safety Trailer, the North Shore Animal League Mobile Pet Adoption, and the Brooklyn Nets “Experience.” Live music was also provided by the Joe Fuoco Music Center.
