First Eucharist for Glendale Kids

Second-grade children at St. Pancras School and CCD program in Glendale celebrated another rite of passage recently by receiving their first Holy Communion during a Mass on May 4. The young Catholics are shown in the left photo under the direction of Louise Madonna, second grade teacher; Barbara Ahlmeyer, director of religious education; and Pamela Arcuri and Dorothy Young, CCD teachers. Msgr. Gregory Wielunski, pastor of St. Pancras Church, celebrated the Mass.
