An unidentified man was found dead inside the parking lot of the College Point Multiplex Cinemas in Whitestone early Monday morning after a dispute with four masked men, according to police.

On Monday, Oct. 1, at approximately 3:24 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his upper torso inside the theater’s parking lot, located at 28-55 Ulmer St.

EMS responded to the call and pronounced the victim dead at the scene upon arrival, police said.

Following a dispute at Angels Strip Club — located at 32-17 College Point Blvd. in Flushing — police said the victim’s vehicle was struck by another vehicle that had been following them. Both vehicles pulled into the parking lot of Multiplex Cinemas.

According to police, four suspects wearing masks exited their vehicle and one of the suspects pulled out the driver and shot him. The suspect did not shoot the victim’s girlfriend, who was also in the car.

According to police, the suspects then drove off with both vehicles, which they then ditched nearby on 120th Street. Two weapons were also recovered in the suspects’ vehicle.

The identity of the deceased is pending, proper family notification, and no arrests have been made.

The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
