Dan’s Papers was one of the media sponsors of the seven-day Hamptons Classic, which marked a spectacular end to “the season.”
The Classic brings equestrians together from around the world to Bridgehampton, a town known for its horse farms on the East End.
The horse show is for jumpers and watching these magnificent animals and their talented riders leap over barriers took my breath away! What a site!
But I must admit, people watching was also a great joy of the week.
To add sweet whipped cream to the sweet cake of the daytime festivities, there were parties, on top of parties, on top of parties after the Classic days!
NYC Mayor Eric Adams came to the Hampton Synagogue, Assemblywoman Rebecca Seawright honored special people at a fundraiser at Jean Shafiroff’s home, Michelle Miller & Joe Sprung had a karaoke party raising money for Life’s WORC at their home and — best of all — my children gathered and we had a wonderful hibachi dinner under the stars!
Well, now I have COVID and the flu, so it’s time to rest up and recover.
Enjoy the photos!
