Via Veneto Fashions, a store on Bell Boulevard, was bilked for nearly $2,500 dollars last week.
According to officers of the 111th Precinct, a customer wrote a bad check to the store for more than $1,000. The same customer also allegedly took a fur coat without paying for it.
Total value of loss to the store was $2,423.
