The New York Pride, a team based out of the city with mostly Queens players, won the 17-and-under Division II Tournament in Orlando, Fla. and placed second in the 16-and-under Division Tournament in Houston.
Songs and costumes of Colonial times in Flushing
The Queens Historical Society will present a free concert, Songs and Costumes of Colonial Times in historic Weeping Beech Park on Sunday at 3 p.m. The park is located at 143-35 37th Ave., just west of Parsons Blvd. in Flushing.
