JACKSON HEIGHTS — Cops were reaching out for the public’s help in finding a duo who tried to hold up a deli clerk with a knife, the NYPD said.

The suspects had entered Flor’s Deli, on Roosevelt Avenue, around 1:14 a.m. June 10, police said.

Then the female suspect distracted the store clerk so her male counterpart could go behind the counter with a knife and demand money, according to cops. The victim resisted and both suspects fled the location with nothing, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
