A man was shot dead outside of St. Albans apartments on Friday night.

A man was shot in the head on Friday night in front of apartment buildings in St. Albans, police said.

The 113th Precinct responded to a call at about 8:47 p.m. of a man shot at the intersection of Linden Boulevard and 193rd Street. The victim, 33-year-old Joneil Major of Hollis, was found shot, unconscious and unresponsive.

Major was transported to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
