Police are searching for trio who put man in choke hold and robbed him in Woodside

A man who was riding his bike to work was ripped off his bike and robbed in Woodside, police said.

On June 23 at approximately 10:20 p.m., the 40-year-old victim was riding his bike in the vicinity of 47th Avenue and 67th Street. Three men approached the victim and one of the suspect’s grabbed him from behind, pulled him off his bicycle and put him in a choke hold while the other accomplices stole his cellphone and bag.

The men fled and when police arrived, the victim refused medical attention. The suspects are described as Hispanic men approximately 20 to 30 years old.
