Police are looking for a man who his victims’ debit card information to withdraw money from their bank accounts throughout Queens and Manhattan in a grand larceny pattern dating back to April.
It was reported to the 105th Precinct that on April 13 at 9 a.m. an unknown individual obtained the 53-year old male victim’s debit card information and used it to withdrawal $80 from the victim’s bank account. The victim was in possession of his debit card during the time of the incident.
One month later, the 102nd Precinct learned that at 6:07 p.m. on May 20, the suspect used a 23-year old male’s debit card information to withdraw $1,400 from the victim’s bank account. The victim was in possession of his debit card during the time of the incident.
Later that same day, it was reported to the 108th Precinct that at 12 p.m. the suspect obtained the debit card information of a 19-year-old female and used it to withdrawal $500 from the victim’s bank account. The victim was in possession of her debit card during the time of the incident.
The suspect is described as white male with a light complexion and between the ages of 25 and 45-years-old. He was last seen wearing a black hat, dark rimmed glasses, and a black coat.
