Police are looking for a man who masturbated in front of a woman on the R train

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who exposed himself to a woman riding the R train earlier this month.

On Dec. 15 at approximately 8:15 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was riding the R train in the vicinity of 67th Ave/Queens Boulevard station in Forest Hills when the suspect began to masturbate in front of her.

The woman exited the train at the 71st Avenue station and took pictures of the suspect before he also fled the train at the same station. There were no injuries reported, police said.

The individual is described as a black male in his 40s, approximately 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
