Bayside will once again be used as a backdrop for a popular CBS drama.

On Friday, Jan. 12, film crews and production trucks will be lining up on Bell Boulevard to film for the hit CBS drama “Madam Secretary.”

“Madam Secretary” stars Téa Leoni as Elizabeth Adams McCord, who was selected to serve as the Secretary of State after Vincent Marsh (who previously held the position) died in a plane crash. The show, which also stars Tim Daly as the secretary’s husband, is currently in its fourth season.

Parking restrictions will be in effect starting at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11. All vehicles that haven’t been moved by this time will be towed to the nearest legal location.

Bayside has become a popular film location for Hollywood. This past November, a film crew was spotted making “We Are Unsatisfied,” a comedy that stars Billy Crystal and Ben Schwartz, outside of the Celtic Cove pub at 29th Avenue and Francis Lewis Boulevard. That same month, the CBS drama “The Good Fight” was seen filming in the front yard of a corner house at 39th Avenue and 209th Street.
