Yankees file suit against Floral Park man

On Christmas Eve Brian McKiernan must have felt a bit like Derek Jeter, one of his favorite baseball players, after ducking away from an inside fast ball. The New York Yankees threw an inside pitch to the Floral Park resident by suing him for the rights to the Internet domain name he owns, newyorkyankees.com.

The Yankees consider the domain name purchased by McKiernan two years ago in June 1998 for $100 their property and want him to give up the site.
