Spring had barely begun when the showers that are to bring the flowers turned to snow. What a surprise. The wind that arrived with it demanded that the tulips and daffodils, already in bloom, would bow down in respect.
In spite of all that, on April 7 large white tubs holding lush green arborvitae were placed in the middle mall along Merrick Boulevard.
