CUNY names temporary prez at Queens College

Dr. Russell K. Hotzler has been plucked from his four-year position as dean for academic affairs for the City University of New York and named the new interim president of Queens College, effective Sept. 1, the CUNY board of trustees announced Monday.

Hotzler will replace President Allen Lee Sessoms, who announced his resignation in April, when he steps down in August, and will fill the position until CUNY appoints a permanent president.
