Police Blotter: Man on boat stabbed, is rescued from water

FLUSHING – A man onboard a boat near the Queens side of the Throggs Neck Bridge Sunday afternoon was stabbed several times in the head, back and neck and fell into the water, said Sgt. Elias Nikas, a Police Department spokesman.

The victim was picked up in the water by another boat and was taken to Jacoby Hospital in stable condition. Police were investigating.
