Flushing medical clinic closed down: DA

For almost four years, the New York Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine at 39th Avenue and Main Street had touted itself as a virtual panacea of ills, from allergies to cancer, from heart disease to diabetes, claiming to cure thousands of people.

That is, until authorities shut down the clinic last week and charged six of its employees with practicing unlicensed medicine.
