Molloy bests St. Francis, 3-1

Dylan Howell scored twice for the Stanners, now 9-0 in league play, and James Jordan also tallied in the victory.

Monsignor McClancy 3, St. John's Prep 3. The Crusaders and Red Storm battled to a tie Thursday. Chris Megaloudis scored twice, his first to pull McClancy within 1, 2-1, and the second with five minutes to go to lock the game at 3-3. Adrian Caballero also scored for the Crusaders.

For the Red Storm, Apolniar Gonzalez scored two and Stefano Grimaldi added another. St. John's Prep is now 4-2-1 in league play and was to wrap up its season Wednesday against Cathedral Prep.

McClancy won Friday by forfeit, when Xaverian did not show for the teams' make-up game. The Crusaders finish the season with a 7-2-1 league record, 9-2-1 overall. The team's two losses came against 'A' league opponents Molloy and Holy Cross.

Holy Cross 9, Xaverian 0. After handing 'B' league opponent Cathedral Prep a defeat last Tuesday, the Knights topped Xaverian Thursday. Jimmy Theodoropoulos scored four goals, Alessandro Acquista had two and Jiva Milenovici, Tamer Mohamed and Nicky Fecentese all tallied in the win. Junior Robert Lehman recorded the shutout.

Holy Cross 1, St. Anthony's 0. The Knights bested Long Island's St. Anthony's Friars Saturday in a non-league affair. Milenovici scored the lone goal for the Knights and Lehman got the shutout, his third straight in only his third start in net.
