The Oratorio Society of Queens, under the artistic direction of David Close, will shortly begin rehearsing for a May 20 performance of Mozart's “Requiem” at Bayside High School. The Queens Museum of Art highlights a range of compelling glass works in an exhibition titled “Heart of Glass,” on display from Feb. 22 through May 27. The seven international artists included in this survey take a conceptual and poetic approach to the medium while demonstrating its versatility.
