SPRINGFIELD GARDENS — Two men held three people at gunpoint in an attempted robbery Saturday, police said.
The gunmen entered an apartment at 219-24 Edgewood Ave. through a window at about 2 a.m., said Officer Chris Cottingham, a police spokesman.
After holding two women and one man at gunpoint, they were arrested without further incident, Cottingham said.
Both men were charged with burglary, illegal possession of a weapon and unlawful imprisonment, Cottingham said.
