Queens Community Arts Fund, a program of the Queens Council on the Arts, has been awarded more than $96,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts, to grant out to the community for cultural programming.
The Queens Community Arts Fund offers Queens-based not-for-profit cultural organizations and individual artists the opportunity to apply for funding, to help them pursue their artistic dreams, through a competitive process ensuring the highest quality of arts activities and services in Queens County. Applications for the 2004 Queens Community Arts Fund, outlining complete eligibility requirements, are now available, with an application deadline on Oct. 1. All applicants are now required to attend one workshop prior to application submission, see Web site for complete schedule.
