CORONA — An on-duty city Department of Sanitation supervisor was stabbed in the chest during a dispute with a department employee Monday night, police said.
The two were outside 32-11 Harper St. in Corona when the fight broke out about 9:45 p.m., police said. Details on what prompted the dispute were unavailable.
The supervisor, 40, was taken to New York Hospital Queens in stable condition, and the worker, 29, fled the scene, police said. No arrests were made and the investigation was continuing.
