REGO PARK — A Rego Park man has been charged with uploading on his computer sexually explicit images of preteen boys and girls ages 2 to 5, the Queens district attorney’s office said.
The defendant, identified as Kenneth Grow, 43, of 65-62 Saunders St., allegedly uploaded images from his home computer onto an Internet bulletin board run by Yahoo, the DA said. On Sept. 18, 2003, a total of 50 obscene images were uploaded, the DA said.
“The defendant is alleged to have used the Internet to promote an obscene performance which included sexual conduct by children, some as young as 2 years of age,” District Attorney Richard Brown said. “The children depicted in the sexually explicit images were victims of the basest exploitation and degradation.”
Grow faces charges of promoting and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child. He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted, according to the district attorney’s office.
